CEI 2012
Following the success in 2007, 2010 and 2011, eight S2 to S5 students participate in the 26th Youth Conference of Caretakers of the Environment International. The conference is held from 1st to 7th July 2012 in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
Under the conference theme “Sustainability in Cross-Border Partnership”, students have carried out their researches titled:
1. Effectiveness of Greening on Urban Heat Island Effect
2. Cooperation between School and NGOs - Plastic Bottles Recycling Program
3. Urban Renewal in Hong Kong: Cooperation Between Local Community, Social Workers and the Government
In this youth conference, students will present their researches to more than 20 teams of particpants coming from more than 15 countries. Students will also take part in other activities including field trips, workshops and cultural night.
